With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eloy Cantu (Portage, Michigan), born in Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eloy Cantu to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Francisco and Ignacia; his wife Maggie; his daughter Lynda "Georgie" Cantu; and his grandson Timothy Cretsinger.

He is survived by : his children, Cindy Cantu, Eloy Cantu (Marcia), Deena Cantu-LaPres and Elma Donner (Chris); and his siblings, Graciela Robles, Joe Cantu (Carmen), Sylvia Mosier (Gale) and Hector Cantu (Cindy).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (1150 W Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49024). A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church or Fransalian Missionary Inc.
