He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Edward and Margaret Ruth Scott (Robison); his sons, Ernest Eugene Scott, Jr. and Robert Stanley Scott; his brother Larry Zehring; and his former wife Margaret June Miklusak.
He is survived by: his children, Fred, Sue Scott of Hermitage and Michelle Hutchison of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his grandchildren, Michael Scott, Christopher Scott, Scout Richardson, Sidney Richardson, Shelby Richardson, Nick Weiborg and Dan Weiborg; his great grandchildren, Beatrix Weiberg and Luna Weiberg; his sister-in-law Katherine Zehring; and his former wife Nancy Gold.
