He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Curtis and Marjorie Curtis (Ettwein); his wife Carol Curtis; his son Rodney Curtis; and his siblings, Gary Curtis, Ron Curtis and Joanie Stoner.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Curtis (Ronda) of Vicksburg, MI, Connie Ketchum (Mike) of Grayling, MI, Cathy Curtis of Kalkaska, MI, Fred Curtis (Ellyn) of Scotts, MI and Kelly Green of Battle Creek, MI; his brother Jim Curtis of Scotts, MI; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Johnson of Vicksburg, MI and Judy Curtis of Portage, MI. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
