He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaas Maring and Jantje Maring (Bats); and his siblings, Marten, John, Joe and Grietje.
He is survived by: his children, Clarence J. Maring (Elizabeth), Edward L. Maring (Linda) and Shirley A. Pruitt; his grandchildren, Tom Maring, Daniel Maring (Alexandra), Steven Maring (Katherine), Nathan Maring (Victoria), Renee Maring, Caroline Pruitt and Jake Pruitt; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Maring, Lenore Maring and Genevieve Maring.
