Age 96, of Portage, passed away Friday evening, September 13, 2024. Jeanne was born in Kalamazoo, on April 24, 1928, the daughter of Thomas and Claudine (Gemrich) Klimp. Jeanne was an avid reader. She also liked knitting and crocheting. Jeanne was also a gardener and enjoyed watching her flowers grow. She loved dogs and was a life-time dog owner. Jeanne is survived by her children, Timothy (Charlotte) Horton, Michael Horton, Debra Secondi and Dawn Kovach (Duane Wager); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Klimp, Jr.
