He was predeceased by: his parents, Luvenia Ewing and Johnny Hart; his daughter Chrishon Hart; his siblings, Bertram Hayes, Willie Hayes, Curtis Hart, Johnny Hart (Sonny) and Wendy Williams; and his stepson James Nance.
He is survived by: his children, LaTasha Hart of Milwaukee and Joe Willie Hart Jr. of Milwaukee; his siblings, Clyde Hart of Jacksonville, James Hart of Memphis, Rosevelt Hart of Chicago, Willie Ewing, Robert Earl Ewing of Indianapolis, Nathaneil Hart of Chicago, Dora Brooks (Thomas) of Crenshaw, Bertha Anderson (Willie) of Greenwood, Shirley Johnson (Robert) of Memphis, Mary Brown of Indianapolis, Johnnie Hart of Milwaukee and Darlene Spicer Sr. (Donald) of Portage; his brother-in-law Paul Mc Craig of Memphis; his grandchildren, Lula, Shalia, Alanna, James and Diannis Hart; and his great grandchild Jamir Hart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other close relatives.
