He was predeceased by: his parents, John Salvaggio and Elizabeth Salvaggio (Culluffo); his former wife Peggy Salvaggio (Tucker); his daughter Brenda Salvaggio; his siblings, Bernice Salvaggio-Kusnerak, Joe, Frank and Tony Salvaggio; and his close friend Howard Quibell.
He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Salvaggio (Porter). He is also survived by two sons, two step-daughters, a step-son and their spouses; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials in John's memory may be directed to First Reformed Church of Portage or West Michigan Cancer Center.
