With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathryn Ott (Portage, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Kathryn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathryn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathryn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Gene Ott. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Ott and Steve Ott (Jenny); and her grandsons, Owen and Evan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Est Prince of Peace Lutheran Church - Portage (1747 W Milham Ave, Portage, MI 49024). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1747 W Milham Ave, Portage, MI 49024).
In Kathi's honor, memorial contributions may be shared with Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo, Wellspring Lutheran Services in Grand Rapids, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
