He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Kelly and Leola Kelly; his former wife Louise Petersen; his spouse Jean Goricki; his sister Pat Hruska; his sons, Don, Ron and Kevin; and his stepson George Goricki.
He is survived by: his brother Dale Kelly; his children, Larry Kelly (Andrea) and Joan Cook (Robert); his grandchildren, Susan LaFountain, Sara Hopper, John Bragg, Benjamin Bragg and Ashley Powell; his great grandchildren, Kamron, Tryston, Zoey, Kenny, Aubrey, Braxton, Tabitha, Alisha, Ryan, Tyler and Dana; and his great great grandchildren, Spencer, Caitlyn, Cody, Kolcyn, Chaz, Lydia and Nora.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church (2381 Romence Rd, Portage, MI 49024). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
