Lorie Ellen Thomas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 72, Lorie Ellen Thomas of Portage, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Edward and Dorothy May Holcomb (Ellis). She is survived by: her husband Keith Thomas; her children, Kevin Thomas (Angie) and Emily Upshaw (Geoffrey); her grandchildren, Hunter, Danielle, Carter, Alanna, Karissa and Justin; and her brother Larry Holcomb (Gloria).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes - Portage Chapel (411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kalamazoo Missionary Church (5045 E Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
Contributions in memory of Lorie may be made to Kalamazoo Missionary Church.
