It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlie B. Smith of Portage, Michigan, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his mother Elizabeth Smith (MacNaughton); his wife Patricia Ann Smith (McGlew); his parent Phernam T. Smith; and his siblings, P. T. (Smitty), Patricia (Lindley) and Shirley (Korte).
He is survived by : his children, Sharon Abbott of Tampa, FL, Stephen Smith (Stacey) of Lansing, MI, Michael Smith (Denise) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jennifer Dinkelmeyer (Curt) of Kalamazoo, MI and Bethany Smith-Mistretta of Lutz, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
