She was predeceased by: her parents, James DeHaan and Alice DeHaan (Burger); her husband Billy Channells; her brother Allan DeHaan; and her great grandchild Lindsay Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Channells (Janet) and Sue Lumbard (Don); her grandchildren, Jason Channells, Christopher Channells, Holly Channells, Daniel Lumbard (Heather) and Suzanne Dean (Everett); and her great grandchildren, Cole Dean, Cruz Dean, Braeden Lumbard, Camden Lumbard, Cutler Lumbard and Jackson Mullins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services - Portage (411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Portage Central Cemetery (7719 S Westnedge Ave, Portage, MI 49002).
