It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathaniel Smith (Portage, Michigan), who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Patricia Davidson and Terry Smith; his aunt Angela Moorian; his uncles, Jon Jameson and Jesse Goudy; and his grandfather Dale Richards.
He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Smith and Tracie Lazarus; his stepfather Richard Wescott II; his grandparents, Judith Hill, Dave, Alice Moorian, Al and Nancy Lazarus; his siblings, Najee Lazarus (Warren Hockett), Elle Smith (Nathan Rillema), Kennedi Wescott, Logan Smith, Lucas Smith, Liam Smith and Harper Smith; his aunts and uncles, Jeff, Erin Smith, Cheryl Davis, Andrew Smith, Christina, Jimmy Gates, Arica Lazarus, Toni Moorian and Jason Campbell (Lisa); his cousins, Bryce Smith, Peyton Smith, Alyssa Smith, Brady Smith, Grace Smith and Madi Smith; his niece Amara Lazarus; and his nephew Carmello Hockett. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
