Age 65 of Portage passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at home. Ronald was born July 25, 1959 in Kalamazoo the son of James and Patricia (Shrout) Howe. He was a graduate of Galesburg-Augusta High School and retired from Flowserve Richard was a lifelong fan of U of M Football and the Detroit Lions and Tigers. On August 30, 1986 in Comstock Ronald was united in marriage to Debra (Rodgers) Howe who survives. Also surviving are four children, Michelle Gates, Samantha Mansfield, Kristopher Gates, Jason Gates; seven grandchildren, Dustin Tristan, Arianna, Gage, Brayton, Anyia, Tatum; great-grandson, ArMonie; two brothers, Randy (Pam) Howe, Tom (Sally) Howe; sister-in-law, Amy Rodgers; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
