We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2022, at the age of 87, Ruby E. Shupe of Portage, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby E. Shupe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Adams and Viola Adams (Slesdet); her son William "Bill" Shupe; her former husband Richard "Dick" Shupe; and her siblings, Charles Adams (Norma), Mary Jackson, Norma VanFleet and Violet Jackson (Doug).

She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Stears (John) and Karen Tembreull (Steve); her granddaughters, Emma Lindemann (Dustin) and Abigail Tembruell; her great grandchildren, Ayden Mackey and Emmett Lindemann; and her brother Sam Adams (MaryAnn).

The family kindly requests that attendees wear masks and following social distancing guidelines.

Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice or a charity of one's choice.

“Carol and Karen: Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. Ruby and I are first cousins. I am trying to remember the last time I talked with her was just before she move up North with one of you girls. We had a nice visit remembering our growing up years and the Sunday family dinners at our Grandparents Slesdet on the farm near Plainwell. May she Rest and Peace and we will meet again some day.
