She is survived by: her husband Stan Groenheide; her daughter Rebecca Ligon (Matthew); her grandchildren, Brittney, Mae, Jacob and Miles; her stepchildren, Sarah Vaknin (Tuval) and Joseph Groenheide; and her mother-in-law Marcia Groenheide. She is also survived by her sister.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Teersia may be made to the Kalamazoo Cat Cafe and Rescue.
