Veronica M. Keyes Obituary

We announce the death of Veronica M. Keyes of Portage, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 106. Veronica will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Laszar and Maria Laszar; her husband Archie Keyes; her son Roger; and her granddaughter Julie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marge Hodgman and Nancy McDowell; her grandchildren, Roxanne Norman, Tina Warner, Rose Jablonski (Larry), George Hodgman Jr. (Carolyn), Ruth Polmanteer and Roger Keyes (MaryLynn Wilcox); and her great grandchildren, Crystal Norman, Veronica Norman, Anna Fuller, Brandon Bogema, Ashley Mottor, Brian McDowell, Monique Wilcox, Alise Lange, Sara Shankie and Maranda Hodgman. She is also survived by 19 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
