He was predeceased by: his son Scott Minkley; and his parents, LaVern Minkley and Marian Minkley (Peterson). He is survived by: his wife Pam Minkley; his daughter Sue Greenhoe of Nashville, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Charli Gustafson (Spencer) of Portland and Sydni Salas (Nik) of Portland; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Hazel, Cooper, Gabbi and Mav; his siblings, Ginny Christensen (Ken) of Portland and Dick Minkley (Carolyn) of Albion, Indiana; his nieces, Andrea Gruber (Brian) of Portland and Nichole White of Bonita Spring, Florida; and his nephew Doug Christensen of Grand Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, Chuck's family asks that donations be made in his name to the Portland High School Music Program. Memorial donations should be made out to "Portland Public Schools" with Chuck's name and the Music Program in the memo section.
