He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto "Dale" Shortz and Maxine Shortz (Austin). He is survived by : his children, Michelle Wood (Marc) and Michael Shortz (Sonia); his grandchildren, Ashley Shortz and Cameron Shortz (Aimee); his great grandchild Alexandra Shortz; and his brothers, Gary Shortz (Nancy) and Marvin Shortz.
