He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Barber and Barbara Barber; his spouse Shirley (Brown); his son John Jr.; his brothers, Lloyd and Steve; his daughter-in-law Beatrice Ann Dean; his grandson Zachary James Barber; and his great grandchildren, Colton James Barber and Aaiden Zachariah Alfaro.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lorrene Jerrils (Leroy) of Fenwick and Dia Graham (Brett) of Orleans; and his grandchildren, Kari Walker (Mike), John Barber (Jessica), William Graham (Tyann), Kelli Bowerman (Matt), Kayla Graham (Andy), Katilynn Barber (Tyler), Kati Ross (Glenn), Brettany Arambula (Estevan) and Natalie Graham. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
