We bid farewell to Josephine Fox (Portland, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Josephine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Theis and Catherine Theis (Schmitt); her husband James O. Fox; her son Richard; and her siblings, Henry Theis, Ed Theis, Mary Smith and Catherine Haeck.
She is survived by: her son Robert "Bob" (Sharon); her granddaughters, Michelle Rademacher (Jordan) and Emilee Harrison (Jerrod); her great grandchild Brayden Harrison; and her sisters, Rose Kolp and Christine Smith.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (210 E Bridge St, Portland, MI 48875). Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (520 W Grand River Ave, Portland, MI 48875).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland, Michigan (140 Church St.).
