Lawrence Pohl Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Pohl Sr. of Portland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pohl and Margaret Pohl (Meyers); his wife Wanieta Maguire; and his siblings, Tom Pohl (Ardella), Edward Pohl (Pat) and Rosie Bugbee.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Conley (Walt), Larry Jr. Pohl (Jill) and Lonnie Pohl (Eileen Kozachik); his grandchildren, Jason Egleston (Casey), Ryan Egleston (Alicia), Juston Pohl (Amanda), Jayna Pohl (Gage Taylor), Alyson Platte (Jeff) and Tricia Pohl; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Nevaeh Pohl, Amelia, Gabriella and Jaydon Egleston; and his sister Marianne Eldrige (Ed).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leukemia Foundation in memory of Larry.
