With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois June Ellison of Portland, Michigan, born in Olivet, Michigan, who passed away on April 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Searl Niver and Neva Niver (Mains); her husband Ronald Ellison; her daughter Teresa Lynn; and her sisters, Ruth Niver and Mary Ritchie.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Ellison Swafford, Sam Ellison (Marilyn) and Sharon Martin (Jerry); her grandchildren, Michelle Cooper (Andy), Matthew McDonald (Mary), Sammy Ellison, Sara Fine (Ryan), Marc McDonald (Leila), Amy Ellison, Kim Lake (Dylan) and Kelsey Lattimer (Austin); and her nieces, Mary Lou Hsu and Rebecca Despins. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
