She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald F. Slowins and Crystal L. Slowins (Brake); her husband James Miller of Fowler, MI; her brother Grayden Slowins (Ann); and her brother-in-law James Eder.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Marie Miller (Darryl Sprague) and David James Miller (Melissa); her grandchildren, Crystal Shivlie (Sean McCoy), Alicia Miller, Marissa Kenyon (Roy) and Shianne Miles (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Logan Braley, Oliver, Addison, Hayle Shivlie, McKenzie, Alexander, Savannah Miles, Matthew, Jordon Kenyon, Annie, Vince and Gabe Kenyon; her sister Donna Eder; and her sister-in-law Theresa Fox.

“I was with great sadness to learn of the loss of another classmate and long time friend. Our graduating class of 1954 have held 5 year reuniions and in later later yearly meetings for lunch for those who could attend since we have graduated. It was always a pleasure to see her when she still lived here in Portland. She will be missed by all of us who knew her. She was a good friend who was well liked by all of us.”
