We announce the death of Donna Davis of Posen, Michigan, born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 61. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Villeneuve; her stepmother Shirley Villeneuve; her daughter Melanie Carr; and her brother Steven Villeneuve. She is survived by: her children, James Davis, Andrew Filipiak (Cara Standen), Joshau Davis, Karley LeSage and Breanna Davis; her mother Lura Villeneuve; and her sisters, Vicki Gauthier, Carmen Villeneuve and Roxanne Gougeon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McRae Park (1301 N 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
