He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Atwell and Juanita Atwell. He is survived by: his brother Larry Atwell (Sandy); his nephew Jason Atwell (Rachel); his great-nephews, Connor and Patrick; his great-niece Layla; his niece Shelly Strickland (Charlie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Makenna and Keegan.
