With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sonna Lee Gawne of Prescott, Michigan, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardie Charters and Lelia Charters (Jackson); her husband Ron Gawne; and her son Ronald Lee. She is survived by: her children, Mark Gawne (Kristi), Mike Gawne and Pam Munsey (Neal); her grandchildren, Andrew Gawne, Zachary Protsman, Jacob Gawne (Chelsie), Phil Bellor (Jennifer), Shannon Juillett (Jake) and Shelby Munsey; her great grandchildren, Ana, Ariel, Nash, Westin and Cooper; and her siblings, Keith Charters (Carolyn), Marcia Tuma and Julie Urbanski (Tony).
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sonna to her family or to Faith Lutheran Church.
