James W. Stender Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Stender of Prudenville, Michigan, born in Durand, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Stender and Evelyn Stender (Berkley); and his former life partner Carol Stender. He is survived by : his wife Lynda J. Atwood of Prudenville; his sons, Russ Stender of Ohio and Rod Stender (Misty) of Houghton Lake; his granddaughters, Ashley Stender of Frankenmuth and Rachael Stender of Frankenmuth; his great grandchildren, Callie Johnson and Landyn Slater; and his brother Jerry Stender (Marlene) of Prudenville.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, masks covering the mouth and nose will be required, social distancing will be observed, and the funeral home capacity is limited to 25 people at any given time, including the time of the service.
