He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lawson and Irene Lawson (Smolinski); his siblings, Jean Sitler and Robert Lawson; and his brother-in-law Mike Grochocki.

He is survived by : his wife Anne Lawson; his son Kyle Lawson; and his siblings, Katie Grochocki, Nancy Pickard (Brian) and David Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
