He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Margaret Wojey of Prudenville; his children, Christopher Jones of Texas, Brandon Jones of Georgia and Elizabeth Wojey of Harrison; his grandchildren, Ravin Wojey, Dezlyn Wojey and Destiny Jones; his mother Mari Ann Luke (James) of Kalkaska; his siblings, Todd Jones (Michelle) of Kalkaska, Sandra Jones-Yapp (Ron) of Manchester and Gaye Jones of Traverse City; his father Oscar Jones; his brother Jeff Jones; and his stepfather Jack Arthur. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

“I just saw this obituary today almost 2 yrs later. I wish to extend my condolences, RJ was my friend although we lost contact after Dessert Storm. Mary Anne, Todd, Sandy and Gaye I remember the great times at Bear Lake and Chili runs in Georgia with Sandy. Margaret I never met you but RJ told me all about you and how he was going to fall off the single wagon and marry you. I am sure you made him very happy.
