He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dorn and Martha Dorn (Fredrich); and his siblings, Fred Dorn, Arthur Dorn, Eleanor Osborne and Margaret Tarpoff (Peg).

He is survived by: his wife Marlene; and his children, Christopher Dorn of Roscommon, Julie Mellen (Jack) of Clarkston and Marcy McCullough of Fishers, IN. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
