With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Gordon Zavitz of Prudenville, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Zavitz and Capatolia Zavitz (Wickham); his brother James Zavitz; and his brother-in-law James Meigs. He is survived by: his former wife JoAnn Meigs; his wife JoAnn "Jody" Zavitz of Prudenville; his children, Jay Zavitz of Houghton Lake, Bobby Zavitz of Houghton Lake and Christie Peters (Todd) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Sheri Woolery (Marc), Stacie TenEyck, Matthew Peters, Amber Johnson (Elliot) and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Caleb and Elijah Woolery.
