As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sr. Meares and Louise Meares; his wife Kay Felt; and his brother Louis Meares. He is survived by: his children, Linda Bodker (Greg) of Houghton Lake, MI, Susan Meares (Bob Rothe) of Prudenville, MI, Pattie Hummer (Tom) of Amherstburg, ON, Tom Meares (Susan) of Oxford, MI and Nancy Tieppo (Craig) of Waterford, MI. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
