He was predeceased by: his parents, Tim Beerthuis and Jackie Beerthuis. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Beerthuis; his son Cody Beerthuis; his stepson Matthew Martin (Nicole); his siblings, Kirk Beerthuis (Barb), Clair Rotman (Mike), David Beerthuis (Karen) and Dan Beerthuis (Larry); his in-laws, Nelvin and Eleanor DeWeerd; and his brothers-in-law, Ken DeWeerd (Paula) and Paul DeWeerd. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in his name to Wing Home Hospice in Allegan, Michigan.
