He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Simon and Louise Simon (Busby); his children, Jimmy Simon and Tina Impton; his siblings, Ruth Ann Woods (Tootie), Susie Rhoads and Tom Simon; and his brothers-in-law, Rodger Mitchell and Bobby Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Bobby Simon Jr. (Tracy), Melissa Wines (Rich) and Ray Simon (Mercy); his brother Jerry Simon; and his sisters-in-law, Jackie Simon, Toni Bowker, Lana Mitchell and Midge Mitchell. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
