Doris E. Rurka Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris E. Rurka of Quincy, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Tryon and Ruth Tryon (Nickloy); her husband Harold L. Rurka; her brothers, Duane and Delton Tryon; and her son Steve Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Rurka (Brenda) of St. Helen, Rick Gardner (Tammy) of Coldwater and Karen Clark (Tom) of Coldwater; her siblings, Jeannie Shaw (Mike) of Homer and Jerry Tryon (Bonnie) of Troy; and her grandchildren, Danielle Gardner, Tyler Gardner, Corey Olds and Sheena Roland. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery - Quincy Elmer.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a Hospice organization of the donor's choice.
