She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pierson and Mary Pierson (Frick); her husband Pryor "Pete" Beard; her granddaughter Brittany; and her siblings, Peggy Erts and Walter Pierson.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Newberry (Sandra) of Coldwater, Karol Booher of Quincy, Kendall "Ken" Newberry (Lora) of Montgomery and Kelli Wheatley (David) of Union City; her sister Patricia Knisely (Norm); her former husband John Newberry; and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Eric, Jason, Tess, Autumn, Katrina, Kayla, Jordan and Jessica. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
