It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Strauss Jr. of Quincy, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ivan had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Ivan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Strauss, Sr. and Betty Strauss (Morrison). He is survived by: his children, Michael Strauss (Amanda), Stacie Barker (Kevin) and Ben Strauss (Denise). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Quincy Chapel (111 E Chicago St, Quincy, MI 49082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
