He was predeceased by: his father Sandy Frick. He is survived by: his wife Christina Boyer; his children, Madison Boyer (Cole Libke) and Dalton Boyer; his mother Sandy King; his mother-in-law Sheila Weidner; his grandson Brooks Parker; his brother Jason Boyer; and his nieces and nephews, Lexi Boyer, Lauren Boyer, Kristin Weidner, Alex Boyer, Jordan Boyer and David Weidner. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations to City of Hope, Hospice of Hillsdale County, or a cancer charity of the donor's choice.
