She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Matz and Mable Matz (Fredrickson); her husband Donald Cook; and her siblings, Maxine Stempien and Leo Matz (Joan).
She is survived by: her children, DeEtt Andrews (John) of Quincy, Paige Mullen (Tim) of Tennessee, Anjanelle Sikkenga (Todd) of Grand Rapids and Derek Cook of California; her grandchildren, Nolan Andrews (Melissa), Tyler Andrews, Patricia Cook (Sean Leyva), McKennah Williams (Matt), Alec Mullen (Caroline), Logan Sikkenga (Paige) and Tiffany Schuitema; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Cambria, Asher, Cameron, Violet and Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Quincy United Methodist Church (32 W Chicago St, Quincy, MI 49082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
