He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard A. "Bunny" Jacobson and Barbara M. "Barb" Jacobson (Nelson); his brother-in-law Tom Peterson; and his mother-in-law Vicky Linskie. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Michael (Nicole), Benjamin and Michelle; his grandchildren, JJ and Jayden Bailey; his siblings, Terry Peterson (Ed Balduc), Bernie Jacobson and Brian Jacobson; his father-in-law Lyle Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Mickey Peterson (Dana), Chad Thompson (Melissa) and Stacy Petersen (Aaron); and his close friend Debbie Maki.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion (605 River St, Wakefield, MI 49968).
