He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Waldie and Elaine Waldie (Foco). He is survived by: his pets, Owen, Doogan and Hope; his wife Deborah Crum; his children, Aaron (Abby), Ryan, Collin, Evan and Helen Bain (Blake); his granddaughter Maizy; his parents-in-law, Helen and Ernest Crum; and his brothers, Dean, Barry and Brent Waldie (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, any contributions in Doug's honor may be made to Potcake Place K9 Rescue, or Dirty Paws Agape Haven.
