He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Brubaker and Ethel Brubaker (Jacobson); his wife Patricia Ann; and his brothers, Russell, Thomas and Keith Brubaker.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Franzoni (Al) of Charlevoix, MI, Richard Kenneth Brubaker, Jr. of Rapid River, MI, John Michael Brubaker of Rapid River, MI, Mary Ann Middleton (Keith) of North Branch, MI, Karl Joseph Brubaker of Detroit, MI and Lawrence David Brubaker of North Carolina. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
