He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Catherine Duarte and Bruce Samdal, Sr.; and his great-uncle Michael Duarte. He is survived by: his parents, Shawn Duarte (Julie Olsen) and Jennifer Stuhan (Samdal); his daughters, Nikki, Isabella and Elizabeth; his siblings, McKenzie Duarte and Wade Duarte; his grandparents, Theresa Samdal and Richard S. Duarte; his great-grandparent Elizabeth Samdal; and his uncles, Derrick Duarte (Tammy), Richard Duarte, Jr. (Carla) and Bruce Samdal (Mandy). He is also survived by one step-brother and two step-sisters.
