He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene' VanPaemel and Martha VanPaemel (Declercq); his wife Antoinette (Lampaert); his grandson Jeff (Amy); and his siblings, George and Andrea.
He is survived by: his children, Lydie Hawkins (late Charles), Ronald VanPaemel and Andrew VanPaemel (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Loran (Terry), Aaron (Leah), Stacey, Marquise, Monique and Charles; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Jacob, Cayden, Ella, Justin, Aidan, Alaina, Kenzo, Abbigail, Scott and Kaysie; and his brother Marcel.
