He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Behm and Mildred Behm (Scharp); his wife Janet Spieth; his grandchildren, Kari, Brett and Douglas; his sisters, Marcheta Harrington and Sandra Behm; and his sister-in-law Linda Behm.
He is survived by: his children, Michele McCavit (Michael) of Reading, Cynthia Behm Pitts of Howell, Cheryl Walworth of Reading, Keith Behm (Brenda) of Adrian and Lindsey Behm (Valerie) of Hillsdale; and his siblings, Carma King of Adrian and Donald Behm of Onstead. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
