Lila M. Rubel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila M. Rubel of Reading, Michigan, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lila M. Rubel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence E. "Chuck" Rubel; her daughter Marcia Rubel; and her siblings, Pauline Beard, Margaret Chester and Martin "Barney" Barnhart.
She is survived by: her son Paul Rubel (Connie) of Alabama; and her grandchildren, Aaron Rubel (April), Thea Vaugh (Troy), Kila Rubel, Lara Nordin (Al) and Cailen Braund (Adam). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reading Chapel (403 S Main St, Reading, MI 49274). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Reading United Methodist Church.
