We bid farewell to Sandy Newell of Reading, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Sandy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bowman and Fern Bowman (Mulligan); her husband James "Jim" Newell; her parents-in-law, Wade and Naomi Newell; her brother Randy Bowman; and her nieces, Jenny Bowman and Robin Bergquist (Wetterlind).
She is survived by: her children, Patti Newell Hampton (Marty) and Ron Newell; her grandchildren, Emily, Foster, Austin Hampton, Mitchell and Nicholas Wert; her siblings, Ken Bowman (Janet) and Elaine Wetterlind (Rick); her niece Randi Lynn Smith (Wetterlind); and her nephews, Randy Bowman, Josh Bowman and Pete Snyder.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Henry Ford Hospice Home in Jackson.
