We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shirley M. Shafer of Reading, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David McCarson and Flora McCarson (Hazel); her brother Charles McCarson; and her parents-in-law, Rodney and Zelda Shafer.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Shafer; her children, Shirley Wilkerson (John) of Fishers, IN and Kenneth Shafer (Mandie) of Hillsdale; her grandchildren, Hannah Reynolds (Rich), Sarah Wilkerson and Seth Shafer; and her great grandchildren, Johnny and Charlie Reynolds.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hillsdale Calvary Temple or Salvation Army.
