She was predeceased by : her parents, David McCarson and Flora McCarson (Hazel); her brother Charles McCarson; and her parents-in-law, Rodney and Zelda Shafer.
She is survived by : her husband Edward Shafer; her children, Shirley Wilkerson (John) of Fishers, IN and Kenneth Shafer (Mandie) of Hillsdale; her grandchildren, Hannah Reynolds (Rich), Sarah Wilkerson and Seth Shafer; and her great grandchildren, Johnny and Charlie Reynolds.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hillsdale Calvary Temple or Salvation Army.
