It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley G. Champion of Reading, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Galen Richard and Wilma Champion (Scharp); his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann (Traxler); his sisters, Nancy Randall (Floyd) and Susan Boothe; his daughter-in-law Evelyn Champion; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Lange and Sandy Johns.

He is survived by: his sons, Galen Champion of Reading and Curtis Champion of Key West, Florida; his brother-in-law Edwin Boothe; his grandchildren, Rakisha Hugenell (Kenny) and Ryan Champion; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Adams of Jacksonville, Pamela Bowers (Jim) of Jonesville, Penny Bump (Larry) of Hillsdale and Ronald Traxler (Penny) of Reading. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
